Welcome to Snehal Rakesh 24 Show…

Today I am going to talk about Benefits of Protein & How you can use Personalised Protein Powder

Protein comes form the Greek word Proteios which means Primary or something that comes First. Protein is called the Building block of life because almost everything in your body from the muscles, tissue, organs, hair, nails is made up of Protein.

Most people think that the only function of Protein is to maintain muscles but the fact is that Protein helps our body to perform many vital functions like building and repairing tissues, production of enzymes and hormones and it also helps out blood to carry oxygen throughout the body.

The Indian Council of Medical Research recommends 0.8 to 1.0 gram of Protein for per kg of body weight for Indians. Lack of Protein in our body can lead to muscle loss, joint pain, fatigue, weakness, decreased immunity and it can also weaken your heart and respiratory system.

A high carbohydrate diet can fluctuate our blood sugar levels which can cause erratic hunger pangs but a balanced Protein diet can maintain our blood sugar levels thus keeping us full. It can also help us maintain or increase lean muscle mass when coupled with resistance exercise which in turn can also increase our Resting Metabolism.

You can get desired amount of Protein from milk, cheese, eggs, chicken or fish. The only disadvantage of the Dairy or Animal Protein is that it is accompanied with fat and also it is cooked using lot of fat.

You can also get desired amount of Protein from nuts, peas, green leafy vegetables, pulses & legumes too but the only disadvantage of plant protein is that it does not have all the 22 amino acids making it incomplete Protein.

And that’s why we recommend you to have Personalised Protein Powder which is also called as PPP. It is made up of Soy Protein Isolate so you get all the 22 amino acids. It also has whey Protein which is fast absorbing protein so it is very good for recovery. One scoop of PPP is 6gms. It has 5 gms of Protein and just 23kcal.

I add 2 scoops of PPP to my Herbalife shake which already has 9gms of Protein. When you have it with any kind of milk, you can get appoximately 24gms of Protein in just one meal along with all the other nutrients that Formula 1 Shake has.

So you can add it to your Herbalife shakes, dahi, Chaas, lassi. You cannot heat up Formula 1 Shakes as it loses some of its Nutritional value but you can heat up PPP so you can add it to your atta and make Protein roti or add it to your rice to reduce its glycemic index. You can also add it in idli, dosa, dal or even bake pan cakes, brownies or muffins. It is available in 2 sizes. 200gms has 33 servings and 400gms has 66 servings so order according to your convenience.

Start using PPP along with regular exercise and share your results with us. We would love to hear from you.
